What you can learn from Ibn Sina (Avicenna)
Claim the dawn.
His deep writing happened in the early hours, before his medical and government duties began. The first hour of the day is the only one nobody else wants — take it for your most important work.
Use the small gaps.
He reportedly wrote even while traveling between cities. Waiting time, riding time, in-between time — small gaps add up to books. Keep your next small task ready for them.
When stuck, step away.
His method for hard problems: leave the desk, rest or pray or sleep on it, and return — he said answers often arrived after the break. Forcing a stuck problem wastes hours; a deliberate pause solves it.
Teach it to learn it.
He taught students at dawn while writing his books. Explaining your work to someone else is the fastest way to find the weak points. Share what you are learning while you learn it.
